Organisational Structure of World Kabaddi Federation (WKF)
World Congress (General Assembly)
General Assembly (AGM) is the supreme and policy making body of the WKF Comprising Affiliate members in good standing and the active life members entitled to attend and vote which meets once a year here after called World Congress.
Council of Patrons
The Council of Patrons comprising distinguished Kabaddi personals, prominent intellectuals and representatives of International sports organizations will be nominated by Executive Board for seeking guidance and advices for the management and promotion of the World Kabaddi Federation.
Executive Board
The management and control of the Federation shall be vested in the Executive Board, who shall be the Governing Body of the Federation and who may exercise all such powers and do all such acts and things as the Federation. The Executive Board members will be elected by the General Assembly for a period of four years during its AGM. The Executive Board shall meet not less than thrice every twelve months of each financial year for the transaction of business.
Advisory Board
Advisory Board comprising experienced Kabaddi personals, former WKF officials, supporters and prominent administrators will be appointed by the Executive Board for guiding and for seeking advices for the functioning of the Federation.
Executive Committee
Executive Committee members will be appointed by the Executive Board for a period as prescribed by the Board with prescribed powers delegated for the administration of the Federation. It is mandatory that the candidate must be either a member in good standing of Friends of Kabaddi or an active Life member or nominated by the affiliate Associations.
Regional WKF
For effective administration of the regions of WKF, there will be a Regional WKF Secretariat headed by its Chairman who will be appointed by WKF Executive Board for a period as prescribed by the Board. Recommendations of concerned regional affiliates may be also taken in to consideration for such appointment.
It is mandatory that the candidate must be either a member in good standing of Friends of Kabaddi or an active Life member or nominated by the affiliate Associations.
Directors
Directors of Traditional Kabaddi, Circle Kabaddi, Beach Kabaddi and Indoor Kabaddi shall be appointed by the Executive Board for a period as prescribed by the Board. It is mandatory that the candidate must be either a member in good standing of Friends of Kabaddi or an active Life member or nominated by the affiliate Associations.
Commissions
Chairman of the Technical, Athletes, Youth and Women & Sport shall be appointed by the Executive Board consisting of its members together with or without members of the Federation for a period as prescribed by the Board.
Committees
The Executive Board will constitute other Committees consisting of its members together with or without members of the Federation for the administration of the Federation as and when required.
